{"id":10713,"date":"2025-01-10T07:58:49","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T07:58:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sindromecharge.es\/index.php\/2025\/01\/10\/investigacion-ictus-identifican-unas-moleculas-que-predicen-recuperacion-pacientes-con-ictus-isquemico\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T07:58:49","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T07:58:49","slug":"investigacion-ictus-identifican-unas-moleculas-que-predicen-recuperacion-pacientes-con-ictus-isquemico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sindromecharge.es\/index.php\/2025\/01\/10\/investigacion-ictus-identifican-unas-moleculas-que-predicen-recuperacion-pacientes-con-ictus-isquemico\/","title":{"rendered":"Identifican unas mol\u00e9culas, presentes en sangre, que predicen la recuperaci\u00f3n de pacientes con ictus isqu\u00e9mico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leemos en Discapacidad la siguiente noticia que os reproducimos de forma \u00edntegra: <\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Un estudio ha identificado<b> cinco mol\u00e9culas de microARN<\/b> presentes en sangre que <b>predicen c\u00f3mo ser\u00e1 la recuperaci\u00f3n<\/b> de los pacientes que han sufrido un <b>ictus isqu\u00e9mico<\/b>, lo que abre la puerta a futuros tratamientos que regulen estas mol\u00e9culas.<\/p>\n<p>El<a href=\"https:\/\/www.20minutos.es\/minuteca\/ictus\/\" title=\"Ictus\" target=\"_blank\"> ictus<\/a> isqu\u00e9mico, causado por un co\u00e1gulo que bloquea un vaso sangu\u00edneo en el cerebro, es la <b>principal causa de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.20minutos.es\/minuteca\/discapacidad\/\" title=\"Discapacidad\" target=\"_blank\">discapacidad<\/a> en adultos y la segunda causa de muerte en el mundo<\/b>, seg\u00fan datos de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo trabajo, elaborado por el <b>Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n del Hospital del Mar<\/b>, ha detectado la relaci\u00f3n entre un peor pron\u00f3stico de los pacientes y tener altos niveles en sangre de cinco microARNs,<b> part\u00edculas que modulan la activaci\u00f3n y desactivaci\u00f3n de ciertos genes<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Este descubrimiento, <b>publicado en la revista Neurology<\/b>, abre las puertas a <b>nuevos tratamientos que regulen estas mol\u00e9culas <\/b>para mejorar procesos clave en la recuperaci\u00f3n, como la <b>neurog\u00e9nesis <\/b>(generaci\u00f3n de nuevas c\u00e9lulas cerebrales) y la angiog\u00e9nesis (formaci\u00f3n de vasos sangu\u00edneos), seg\u00fan el coordinador del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n neurovascular del Hospital del Mar, el doctor Jordi Jim\u00e9nez Conde.<\/p>\n<p>Esta investigaci\u00f3n es la primera en Europa que relaciona mol\u00e9culas con la evoluci\u00f3n del ictus cerebral y ha sido <b>validada con m\u00e1s de 400 pacientes<\/b> de varios hospitales espa\u00f1oles.<\/p>\n<p>En una primera fase, tras analizar a<b> 215 personas que hab\u00edan sufrido un ictus<\/b> isqu\u00e9mico, el estudio detect\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n entre ciertos microARN y un <b>peor pron\u00f3stico a los tres meses del episodio<\/b>; posteriormente, los resultados fueron validados en una segunda cohorte de 191 pacientes, lo que confirm\u00f3 la<b> conexi\u00f3n de estas mol\u00e9culas con la evoluci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan una de las investigadoras del Hospital del Mar, la doctora Isabel Fern\u00e1ndez P\u00e9rez, los pr\u00f3ximos pasos deben<b> centrarse en estudiar c\u00f3mo estos microARN afectan a las neuronas<\/b> y los vasos sangu\u00edneos para \u00abconfirmar la relaci\u00f3n causa-consecuencia y la posibilidad de utilizarlos como tratamiento\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><b>Algunos de los microARN identificados ya tienen inhibidores<\/b> que pueden servir para modular su actividad sobre los genes que regulan.<\/p>\n<p>Esto abre el camino para estudiar v\u00edas que conviertan su funci\u00f3n en un <b>potencial tratamiento <\/b>que mejore el pron\u00f3stico de las personas que han sufrido un ictus isqu\u00e9mico. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Fuente: Discapacidad https:\/\/www.20minutos.es\/noticia\/5671067\/0\/investigacion-ictus-identifican-unas-moleculas-que-predicen-recuperacion-pacientes-con-ictus-isquemico\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Este descubrimiento abre las puertas a nuevos tratamientos que regulen estas mol\u00e9culas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10713","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-noticias"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
